Put Your Operations on Autopilot

Deploy goal-driven AI agents that execute multi-step tasks across your tools, with clear guardrails, permissions, and human oversight where needed.

Benefits of AI Agents

What AI Agents Do for Your Business

AI agents go beyond simple automation. They can plan and execute multi-step tasks across tools, with guardrails and human approval where needed.

Always On

Handle routine requests and handoffs continuously, with clear rules and escalation paths

Adapt Fast

Work with changing inputs and exceptions, not only fixed if-then logic

Scale Now

Increase throughput without linear headcount growth, while keeping visibility and control

Work Smarter

Use defined context and tools to support decisions and next steps in workflows

Data risk

"How do we use AI without exposing our data?"

What Exactly is an AI Agent?

An AI agent is a goal-driven assistant that can plan and execute multi-step tasks across tools and systems. Unlike a fixed workflow, an agent can adapt to changing inputs and handle exceptions, with guardrails and human approval where needed.

Goal-Oriented

Agents work toward a defined outcome, choosing the next best step instead of following one fixed path

Autonomous

"Who should drive AI internally (and with what mandate)?"

Agents can take actions within permissions, and escalate decisions or edge cases for review when required

Fully Integrated

"Every team is experimenting with its own thing"

Agents connect to your systems and data sources to execute tasks end to end, not just generate text

No Impact

From Idea to Implementation

How We Build Your AI Agents

A structured, collaborative process that ensures every agent we build operates reliably, safely, and in complete alignment with your business goals.

Deploy an Agent

1. Goal Definition

We define the agent’s objective, boundaries, permissions, and success criteria before anything is built.

2. Architecture Design

We design how the agent will work across tools, what data it can access, and where approvals or human oversight are required.

3. Agent Development

We build the agent, connect it to your systems, and provide the right prompts, knowledge, and tool actions for the task.

4. Testing & Safety Checks

We test reliability, edge cases, and guardrails, and validate behavior against your acceptance criteria.

5. Deployment

We deploy, monitor performance, and set up escalation and iteration so the agent stays useful as conditions change.

FAQ

Your Questions, Answered

Do you offer SSO and role-based access?

Yes, we recommend only allowing use of the platform via your SSO to maintain high security standards as well as to ensure that usage aligns with internal policies and governance. The SSO connection is included in all of our plans.

Can we connect internal documents and knowledge to the platform?

Yes, the platform can be configured to support internal knowledge use cases, such as drafting and answering questions based on approved documents and policies, within defined access controls and governance rules. You can build such knowledge bases directly on the platform or we can work with you to connect existing data sources.

How long does a platform rollout take?

A rollout timeline depends on scope, integrations, and governance requirements. Kambria defines a clear rollout plan upfront, including setup, onboarding, and the first adoption phase. In almost all cases, this takes about 1-2 weeks.

Is there a self-service setup option?

Platform rollouts are guided by Kambria to ensure secure setup, governance, and successful adoption. Kambria supports you through configuration, onboarding, and the first phase of usage, so teams start with a consistent and safe foundation.

Is the platform based on open-source technology?

Yes. The platform is built on open-source foundations, which supports transparency, flexibility, and reduced vendor lock-in. It also makes it easier to extend the platform as your requirements evolve or migrate into your own IT infrastructure.

Can we monitor how AI is being used in our organization?

Yes. The platform provides usage monitoring and reporting so you can understand adoption and spot where additional enablement or governance updates are needed. We do NOT analyze the contents of your chats.

What integrations does the platform support?

The platform supports integrations with common business systems depending on your landscape and requirements. Frequent integrations include ERP and document management systems as well as SharePoint, Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), HubSpot, Salesforce, and Personio. Additional integrations, such as a custom PowerPoint connection via MCP, can be implemented with support from Kambria as part of rollout or implementation projects.

What are agents/assistants on the platform?

Agents are pre-configured AI assistants tailored to a specific role or task, for example drafting in a defined style, answering internal policy questions, or supporting recurring workflows. Teams can build and share an internal library of such assistants to standardize best practices.

Please note that the platform is chat-only and does not include a workflow engine. If you are interested in deploying such an engine in the same infrastructure stack, we are happy to support this effort.

What does “token-based billing” mean?

AI models process inputs and outputs in small units called tokens. Token-based billing means you pay based on actual usage rather than a flat per-user fee, so costs reflect how much AI is used across the organization. For most organizations with more than 20 active users, this will be more cost-effective than per user license fees.

Is our data used to train AI models?

No. Customer data is not used to train AI models. The platform is designed to support controlled AI use with clear governance and data boundaries.

Where is the platform hosted and where is data processed?

In our standard setup, the platform is hosted in Germany on dedicated servers per customer. For each available AI model, the platform provides transparency on server location and processing, so your organization can make informed decisions about which models to enable.

We also have extensive experience in deploying, running, and maintaining the platform on client IT infrastructure. If you are interested in a custom infrastructure stack or would like us to enable and support you in running and maintaining the platform yourself, please get in touch.

Is the platform GDPR-compliant and secure?

Yes. The platform is designed for GDPR-compliant use, and your data is not used to train AI models. Security and data sovereignty are core principles of how the platform is built and operated. If you are interested to learn more about how our tech stack enables this, get in touch!

Can we choose which AI models employees are allowed to use?

Yes. The platform is vendor-independent by design. You decide which models are enabled for your organization as well as individuals or groups within your organization. We regularly make recommendations to our customers as new models become available and also update them as your needs, policies, or costs evolve.

Which AI models are available on the platform?

We typically connect our customers to multiple leading models, such as ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Claude (Anthropic), or Perplexity. The exact model set can evolve over time, and the platform is designed to avoid single-vendor lock-in. Any model with an OpenAI-compatible interface should be easily deployable.

What is the Kambria AI Chat Platform?

The Kambria AI Chat Platform is a secure, organization-wide AI workspace that gives employees access to leading AI models in a controlled environment. It is based on the Open Source tool Open WebUI and—in our implementation—is designed for governed, GDPR-compliant use at scale, so AI can be introduced consistently across teams rather than through isolated tools.
